How it works

Three steps, at your pace

  1. 01

    Tell the coach about you

Two minutes on your numbers, your routine and, only if you want to share them, any health conditions or medicines. A safety check keeps fasting off the table for people it is not right for.

  2. 02

    Start gently

Most people begin at 12:12, an overnight fast, for two to three weeks. You step up only when it feels easy, never because a streak demands it.

  3. 03

    See it in your numbers

Consistent weeks, protein hit rate, and the trend in weight, fat and muscle. Not a score, just what actually happened.

The evidence, plainly

In trials, time-restricted eating works about as well as cutting calories. Its appeal is simplicity: one rule about when, instead of counting everything.

It is not magic, and we will not pretend it is. Whether it suits you is something your own numbers will show within a few weeks.

What you get

Built to keep you going

Rhythm

One rule about when you eat, set around your mornings, your work and your evenings. No calorie maths at every meal.

Strength

A daily protein target and a nudge toward strength training, so the weight you lose is fat, not the muscle you want to keep.

Clarity

Your own data, plainly: what you did, what changed, and what to try next. No guesses, no hype.

Built around real food

From dal to Greek yoghurt

The food list starts with what people actually cook, with protein and micronutrients for each serving. Add anything that is missing in a few taps.

Meet your coach

Answers from your data, not a script

Ask how it is going and the coach looks at what you actually logged. It shows the figures it used, so you can check its working.

What it will not do: diagnose, read lab results, or tell you to change a medicine. For anything medical, it sends you to your doctor.

Example conversation

Am I actually sticking to this?
Mostly, yes. You finished 11 of your last 14 fasts, and the three you stopped early were all on Saturdays. A later window at weekends might be easier to keep than pushing through.

Safety first

The guardrails are the feature

A health check before any plan

Pregnancy, type 1 diabetes, a history of disordered eating, insulin or sulfonylureas, being under 18 or underweight: Metabo will not build a fasting plan.

Nothing past 24 hours on your own

Daily schedules only. Longer fasts are locked unless a clinician is supervising, because that is how they are run in practice.

No medicine advice, ever

The coach never suggests changing a medicine or its timing. If you share a condition, your plan asks you to show it to your doctor first.

No disease claims

Metabo is a wellness app. It does not promise to treat, reverse or prevent anything, and it does not read your lab results.

Who should not fast

Start your first fast tonight.

Finish dinner, start the timer, and let the coach take it from there.
